marie lowther is my mum who much loved and missed by all the family.my mum had a big family 7
children(andrea,theresa.joan,mary(me),liam,john& bethany)8
grandchildren(sean,demi,aiden,courtney,leigharna,brandon,ethan(my son who is also on gts) &
cassidy)and she also had 1 great grandchild who was born last month(lewis).my dad has taken my mums
passing quite hard as they have been together for nearly 40 years.
my mum had brain cancer we only found out because she had a stroke in late feb07 she was admitted to
hospital then after a m.r.i scan they found a tumor on her brain (that caused the stroke) she was
sent to leeds hospital and she had to have a biopsy done thats when we found out it was cancer on
her brain that was in march 07 she had radiotherepy but then they stopped it as she was too ill and
because her tumor was still growing so they gave my mum 10-12 months so we expected her to be with
us till at least january but that wasnt to be as on tuesday my mum just slept and we couldnt wake
her to give her medication and she slept all the way through us changing her cloths,we rang the
district nurses and they connected a srynge driver for her medication and from tuesday she just
slept untill saturday 22 november in the afternoon she slipt away from us with all her loving family
around her.
